Free Storage Upgrades and Expanded AI Subscription Options
Samsung is offering a Double Storage perk for early birds, allowing 256GB model buyers to upgrade to 512GB at no extra cost.
High-capacity model purchasers get additional perks. Customers buying 512GB versions of the Fold8 or Fold8 Ultra can upgrade to 1TB by paying just 317,000 KRW (about 216 USD) more – half the usual price difference. However, the Flip8 512GB and Fold8/Fold8 Ultra 1TB models are excluded from pre-orders.
Accessory discounts are also available. Z series buyers will receive two 50% off coupons for the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9.
Samsung is launching sign-ups for its New Galaxy Artificial Intelligence (AI) Subscription Club on July 28, coinciding with the pre-sale. This offer is available when purchasing unlocked Z series models at Samsung stores, Samsung.com, major online retailers and department stores.
The three-year plan introduced with the Galaxy S26 series in February now extends to the Z series, with added loss compensation benefits.
The New Galaxy AI Subscription Club offers up to 50% residual value compensation upon device return, Samsung Care+, and accessory package discounts. The Galaxy Z Flip8 two-year plan now includes a Flip Youth Subscription, boosting the device return compensation rate from 40% to 50%, matching the one-year plan.
The three-year plan covers Samsung Care+ for smartphone loss/damage, while one and two-year plans cover Samsung Care+ for smartphone damage. Loss claims require a 30% deductible, with up to three claims allowed (one per year). Damage claims have a 30% service fee deductible (minimum 30,000 KRW (about 20 USD)). Carrier models follow respective carrier policies.
Monthly subscription fees are 9,900 KRW (about 6.75 USD) for one and two-year plans and 14,500 KRW (about 9.89 USD) for the three-year plan for the Fold8 Ultra and Fold8. The Flip8 costs 8,900 KRW (about 6.07 USD) for one and two-year plans and 11,500 KRW (about 7.84 USD) for the three-year plan.
