McDonald’s Korea is set to resume selling french fries this week after a temporary halt in sales.

According to industry sources on June 24, McDonald’s plans to gradually resume selling french fries. Some stores have already adjusted their delivery schedules and are preparing for the resumption. McDonald’s Korea previously announced on June 20, “Due to unforeseen issues within our supply chain, we are temporarily unable to serve french fries.” This was due to concerns that some of the frozen potatoes supplied did not meet the standards, leading to a halt in supply.

McDonald’s Korea stated, “It may take some time to stabilize the supply 100% to all stores nationwide, but we plan to gradually increase the supply starting this week. The exact time of normalization will be announced later.”
