Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on Monday that it has launched a new trim GLE 350 4MATIC as a new addition to its mid-size SUV lineup.

The GLE 350 4MATIC represents the entry-level gasoline trim for the GLE model. Mercedes states that this model maintains the GLE’s signature exterior styling and spacious interior while offering a well-balanced powertrain that prioritizes efficiency.

With the introduction of the GLE 350 4MATIC, the GLE lineup now boasts four distinct trims: GLE 450 4MATIC, GLE 300 d 4MATIC, AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+, and the newly added GLE 350 4MATIC.

The GLE 350 4MATIC features an inline-four engine paired with a 9-speed transmission. This powertrain delivers a robust 258 horsepower and 40.8kgf·m of torque. The vehicle also incorporates a 48-volt mild hybrid system and an integrated starter generator (ISG), enhancing power delivery and enabling smoother, quicker engine starts.

The GLE 350 4MATIC comes equipped with cutting-edge features such as the AIRMATIC package and a transparent hood The interior boasts luxury amenities including the Energizing Package, Air Balance Package, and the second-generation MBUX infotainment system. Pricing for the new trim starts at $81,631.
