Hyundai Motor Group announced on June 21 that it will showcase 34 vehicles at the 2026 Busan Mobility Show, set to take place at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) in Busan from June 26 to July 5.

Hyundai will unveil its new compact sedan, the All-New Avante, while Kia will introduce the latest model of its multipurpose vehicle, the PV5. Fresh from its successful completion of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Genesis will present its vision for high-performance vehicles through the Magma GT concept car and a real-life hypercar.

Hyundai’s 22,000-square-foot (about 2,040 square meters) booth will feature 12 vehicles across 8 models. The exhibit space is designed to showcase experiences beyond traditional automobiles, highlighting software and artificial intelligence (AI) integration. The All-New Avante is expected to be the second model in the Korean market, after the Grandeur, to feature the Pleos Connect system.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience Hyundai’s next-generation infotainment system, Pleos Connect. The All-New Avante will make its global debut at this event, alongside the recently launched new Grandeur.

The electric vehicle lineup on display will include the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Ioniq 9, Kona Electric, and Staria Lounge electric vehicle (EV). Hyundai will also showcase its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the Nexo.

Kia’s booth, matching Hyundai’s in size at 22,000 square feet (about 2,040 square meters), will showcase a total of 18 vehicles, including three new models based on the PV5 platform.

The PV5 derivatives will feature various configurations, including a 2-2-3 passenger layout, Passenger Prime, and Cargo High Roof versions. Kia will also exhibit six specially modified PV5 models developed in collaboration with industry partners, showcasing the platform’s versatility. These include a children’s school bus, an ice cream truck, a mobile pet pop-up store, a bike transport vehicle, a mobile bank, and an AI patrol car.

Fresh from its triumph at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Genesis will display the actual General MotorsR-001 hypercar. This follows the successful completion of the endurance race by the #19 car from the Genesis Magma Racing team.

In addition, Genesis will debut its Magma GT concept in Asia for the first time at the Busan show. This unveiling comes on the heels of Genesis’ recent introduction of its GT3 concept car in conjunction with the Le Mans event.

Genesis’ luxury vehicle lineup will be led by the GV60 Magma, accompanied by electrified versions of the GV70 and G80, as well as the striking GV80 Black Coupe.
