On Thursday, Genesis announced it will offer exclusive streaming content—Genesis Music and the Bloomberg App—free of charge through an over-the-air software update.

The Bloomberg App will be available on all Genesis models. Genesis Music will be available on all except the pre-2024 G90, pre-facelift GV60, and the electric GV70. Support for the electric GV70 will come in a software update later this year.

Owners of compatible vehicles can get these new features through an OTA update, with no need to visit a dealership.

Genesis Music uses Dolby Atmos spatial audio to enhance in-car sound and deliver an immersive experience. The system lets users search for music and get track suggestions without connecting to a smartphone. The update gives free access to the service for up to five years.

The Bloomberg App, offered exclusively by Genesis among automakers, streams real-time content from the global news platform directly to the vehicle. It includes translation into Korean, Chinese, German, French, and Arabic. Users can access the content without logging in until October 2026. Owners of the G90, G80 (including electric models), and GV80 (including coupe versions) will also get a free one-year subscription worth $299 for use on personal devices like smartphones.

For more information, interested parties can visit the Genesis website. A Genesis spokesperson said the company remains committed to improving the in-vehicle content experience by offering seamless services without complicated steps.
