2026 Investment Insights: Ethereum ETF Surpasses Bitcoin in Fund Inflows!

Economy2026 Investment Insights: Ethereum ETF Surpasses Bitcoin in Fund Inflows!

U.S. Bitcoin and Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have recorded net inflows for three consecutive weeks, while the Hyperliquid (HYPE) spot ETF experienced capital outflows.

According to data from Ublockchain on Tuesday, U.S. Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a total net inflow of 33.79 million USD from July 20 to 24, continuing their positive trend for the third straight week.

During the same period, Ethereum spot ETFs attracted even larger inflows, totaling 104 million USD. This marks the third consecutive week of net inflows for Ethereum spot ETFs as well.

Other major altcoin spot ETFs also generally experienced capital inflows. The Solana (SOL) spot ETF recorded a net inflow of 7.2 million USD, while the XRP spot ETF drew in 8.15 million USD.

In contrast, the Hyperliquid (HYPE) spot ETF stood out as the only major spot ETF to experience capital outflows, with a net withdrawal of 8.61 million USD during the same period.

Cryptocurrency news outlet BeInCrypto reports that institutional funds are currently flowing more aggressively into Ethereum than Bitcoin. While major altcoin ETFs like XRP and Solana are seeing limited inflows, the HYPE ETF’s unique outflow suggests a weakening investor sentiment in that particular fund.
