Stray Kids member Felix could not attend a fan meeting over the weekend after sustaining a minor car accident injury.
On Sunday, JYP Entertainment, the group’s management company, shared a statement on Stray Kids’ official social media accounts, providing details about the incident. According to the announcement, Felix was involved in a minor collision while heading home after finishing his schedule on Saturday. The vehicle he was in, a Kia Carnival, was slowly moving toward the main lobby of the Inspire Arena parking lot when it made contact with a shuttle bus that was also traveling at low speed, causing a collision on the left rear side of Felix’s vehicle. Although the impact was minor, Felix’s arm absorbed much of his body weight during the sudden movement, causing him to strike the interior armrest.
The statement went on to explain that after the accident, Felix was taken to a nearby hospital for an X-ray, which suggested a possible fracture. However, following the medical team’s evaluation, additional testing was recommended. Felix later underwent an MRI and consulted with specialists. Further tests revealed that the apparent fracture shown in the initial X-ray was actually an old injury from his childhood and that nearby nerves were being compressed. The agency confirmed that Felix would continue to monitor his condition and follow the medical team’s advice for appropriate treatment.
Due to the injury, Felix could unfortunately not attend the Stray Kids’ fan meeting at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on Sunday. He will now focus on his recovery.
In the meantime, Stray Kids successfully held its fifth fan meeting from Friday to Sunday, engaging with its dedicated fans.
