Devsisters’ development studio Press A announced on Thursday that it is recruiting participants for the global closed beta test (CBT) of its mobile real-time battle action game Cookie Run: Oven Smash until April 15.

Cookie Run: Oven Smash is a mobile real-time battle action game based on Cookie Run’s intellectual property rights. It combines intuitive action gameplay with strategic PvP (player-versus-player) combat.

Cookie Run: Oven Smash introduces players to the visually striking “Platter City,” offering unique battle arenas and gimmicks, original cookie characters, and character skins that set it apart from previous Cookie Run games.

The CBT for Android and iOS users is scheduled to start next month.

This test will showcase four distinct combat modes.

These include “Castle Break,” where teams race to destroy the opponent’s castle within a time limit, along with three 3v3 team battle modes: “Gold Rush,” “Smash Arena,” and a “Battle Royale” mode in which up to 10 individual players can participate.

Interested gamers can sign up for the CBT through the official website. All testers will receive in-game currency that can be used after Cookie Run: Oven Smash officially launches.

The CBT aims to evaluate core gameplay mechanics and stability while gathering user feedback. It plans a global release, including in South Korea, within this year.

Building on its existing Cookie Run fanbase, the company plans to expand its mobile-focused services and develop a PC version to broaden its platform and enhance player experiences.
