Dong-A ST announced on Tuesday that it has entered into a partnership with medical information technology (IT) company Dou for artificial intelligence (AI) solutions at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2026 healthcare information systems exhibition.

This collaboration aims to combine Dong-A ST’s sales and marketing prowess with Dou’s technological expertise to broaden the adoption of AI agent solutions in hospitals nationwide and expand the digital healthcare ecosystem.

As part of the agreement, Dou will provide Dong-A ST with its AI solutions, including Saerok, Miribom, and Yakmeokja. Dong-A ST will be responsible for promoting, marketing, and selling these solutions to domestic medical institutions.

Dou, established in 2022, is a medical information technology (IT) company that has been instrumental in creating more efficient healthcare environments. They achieve this by enhancing healthcare professionals’ productivity and improving patient experiences through field-tested AI solutions.

The company’s flagship services include Saerok, an AI assistant for medical records, Miribom, an AI-powered pre-examination platform, and Yakmeokja, a personalized prescription management service.

A spokesperson for Dong-A ST stated that by integrating Dou’s AI technology with the extensive healthcare network, it aims to expand the range of digital healthcare solutions available to medical institutions. They’re committed to continuously developing innovative services that streamline healthcare providers’ workflows and enhance patient experiences.
