Hugel said Tuesday it will participate in AMWC Korea (Aesthetic & Anti-aging Medicine World Congress Korea), a global aesthetic medicine conference scheduled for June 19-20 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas. The event will be held in South Korea for the first time.
At its dedicated exhibition booth, Hugel will showcase its key product portfolio, including botulinum toxin brand Letybo, Revolax hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers, BYRYZN Skin Booster HA, BYRYZN absorbable sutures and Licellvi.
The company will also host a luncheon symposium on June 19. Dr. Sejin Kim of Lienjang Plastic Surgery Clinic’s Myeong-dong branch and Dr. Hyoseung Jang of Pierbom Clinic’s Gangnam branch will share clinical experience and treatment insights related to botulinum toxin procedures.
The symposium will also feature Dr. Suneel Chilukuri, founder of Houston-based Refresh Dermatology, who will present clinical cases and real-world treatment experience with Letybo in the United States.
Hugel will operate a series of programs before and after the conference designed to provide international participants with firsthand exposure to South Korea’s medical aesthetics industry.
From June 17-18, the company will host “L.E.A.D. (Letybo Experience & Discovery) with AMWC Korea,” an educational program centered on Letybo.
The program will include live demonstrations through clinic tours and anatomy-focused training sessions, highlighting the procedural expertise and educational capabilities that have helped drive the growth of K-aesthetics. On June 20, Hugel will conclude its participation with “HUGEL LEAD NIGHT,” a networking event for physicians and industry professionals from around the world.
“Hosting AMWC in Seoul, one of the world’s leading hubs for medical aesthetics, is a highly symbolic milestone that reflects the growing global influence of K-aesthetics,” said Cary Strom, global CEO of Hugel. “AMWC Korea will provide a meaningful platform for our customers and employees to exchange market insights and experiences while creating opportunities to expand global business synergies.”
Separately, Hugel recently appointed South Korean actor Ji Chang-wook as its new brand ambassador.
The new campaign featuring Ji consists of three advertisements aimed at strengthening corporate brand value and competitiveness, increasing awareness of BYRYZN Skin Booster HA, and promoting the company’s The Chaeum dermal filler lineup.
Hugel said the campaign is designed to connect the messaging across all three advertisements to simultaneously highlight the company’s business strengths and broad aesthetic product portfolio.
