JNP Medi’s clinical trial data standardization solution, Maven Converter, has been named a finalist in the Best Digital Health Solution category at the inaugural Prix Galien Korea 2026. This global pharmaceutical and biotech awards ceremony is being held in South Korea for the first time this year.
JNP Medi, an artificial intelligence (AI) based life sciences research and development (R&D) platform company, announced on Tuesday that Maven Converter had received this prestigious nomination.
The Prix Galien is an international award that recognizes innovative achievements in pharmaceuticals and medical technologies. Established in France in 1970, it is often referred to as the Nobel Prize of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
The inaugural Prix Galien Korea will honor winners in five categories: Best Drug, Best Biotech Product, Best Medical Technology, Best Digital Health Solution, and Best Startup. The awards ceremony is scheduled for the 10th in Seoul.
Maven Converter is a web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) that automatically converts clinical trial data to meet international standards. JNP Medi developed this tool based on its extensive experience managing data from over 250 clinical trials.
The software transforms raw clinical trial data into standard formats defined by the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC), specifically SDTM and ADaM. It also generates necessary documentation for regulatory submissions and verifies compliance with international standards.
While this process traditionally required programming skills using tools like SAS or SQL, Maven Converter allows users to standardize data by simply setting relationships on-screen, eliminating the need for coding. Its versatility enables it to process data from various electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
Internal testing at JNP Medi showed that Maven Converter slashed data processing times from 93-123 days to just 30-37 days. The company projects potential cost savings of over 30%, possibly reaching up to 50%, for clinical trial-related expenses.
JNP Medi’s future plans include developing a comprehensive digital clinical trial environment. This platform will streamline the entire process, from drafting protocols to data collection, standardization, verification, and regulatory submission.
In May, JNP Medi introduced its Zero-Submission concept at the 2026 CDISC Europe Interchange in Milan, Italy. This innovative approach focuses on real-time connectivity and utilization of clinical trial data. The research was also featured in the official program poster session of CDISC, the organization responsible for developing international clinical data standards.
The company has gained recognition from South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups through its Super Gap Startup Project (DIPS) and Unicorn Bridge initiatives, further advancing the commercialization of digital technologies for clinical trials.
JNP Medi is set to host 2026 Maven Day on September 4, where it will unveil plans for its next-generation clinical trial platform, Maven V2.0. This platform aims to integrate all aspects of clinical trials, from data collection and management to global standardization, into a single, cohesive system.
