On Thursday, Orchestra Group unveiled its Sovereign AI Cloud Data Center solution, a groundbreaking offering that enables organizations to simultaneously secure data sovereignty and control over AI infrastructure.

A spokesperson for Orchestra explained that the company’s Sovereign AI Cloud Data Center solution combined the scalability of public cloud services with the level of control typically associated with on-premises environments. The spokesperson said the approach minimized cost fluctuations that often accompany the expansion of AI services while providing a predictable total cost of ownership (TCO).

The spokesperson added that the solution had been designed as a private cloud, removing reliance on external cloud services or shared resources and enabling businesses and institutions to directly establish and manage their own data access rules and operational policies.

To realize this vision, Orchestra has integrated a comprehensive stack of AI and cloud technologies. This includes their server virtualization solution, Contrabass; cloud-native management platform, Viola; AI infrastructure platform, Concerto AI; generative AI solution, Clarinet; and AI-driven automation solution, Symphony A.I.

The company has also incorporated key solutions for DevOps, multi-cloud environments, migration processes, and disaster recovery.

Clients can swiftly implement VM (virtual machine) and container-based AI environments without navigating complex setup procedures. The solution also boasts a modular structure, allowing users to selectively configure only the features they need.

The Orchestra spokesperson stated that for customers facing difficulties in building their own private data centers, the company provided end-to-end services covering both software and hardware. Their solution supports not only GPU-centric AI workloads but also integrates with domestic AI semiconductors (NPUs) and large language models (LLMs).

Orchestra Group has ambitious plans to sequentially launch Sovereign AI Data Centers in key locations across South Korea, including Magok, Cheongdam, and Yeouido, throughout the year. This strategic move aims to foster a Sovereign AI infrastructure ecosystem that evolves from software-centric packages to encompass physical infrastructure.

Within the group’s structure, Orchestra, Orchestra AGI, and Orchestra Data Command oversee all software aspects, while Orchestra Cloud manages data center consulting, design, construction, and operational services.

Kim Mi Jun, chairman of Orchestra Group, said that combining the group’s AI and cloud full-stack solutions with its data center construction expertise would help accelerate the adoption of sovereign AI infrastructure. He added that the company aimed to ensure businesses and institutions could reliably operate sovereign AI environments while retaining control over their critical data and AI operations.
