On Wednesday, Seers Technology, a wearable artificial intelligence (AI) diagnostic monitoring company, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the UAE’s PureHealth Group for collaboration on AI-based patient monitoring initiatives.
The agreement was finalized at the One Health booth during the recent global medical exhibition WHX Dubai 2026 in Dubai. Adnan Anjum, PureHealth’s Chief Digital Officer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its digital healthcare subsidiary One Health, signed the agreement. Qasim Ahmad, PureHealth’s Chief Innovation Officer, was also present at the ceremony.
Representatives from the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Korea International Trade Association attended as well, underscoring the importance of expanding digital healthcare cooperation between South Korea and the UAE.
Seers has been cultivating local partnerships with One Health, PureHealth’s digital healthcare subsidiary. This MOU expands the collaboration to the group level, potentially strengthening Seers’s role and position within the UAE’s digital healthcare sector.
The companies plan to implement pilot programs across their product line, including mobiCARE™, a wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) based heart monitoring solution; thynC™, an inpatient monitoring platform; and remote patient monitoring (RPM) systems.
Seers is currently preparing for clinical and operational implementation of its solutions in major UAE healthcare institutions. Operational validation is already underway at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), a PureHealth facility. The company anticipates gradual business expansion based on these pilot results.
Seers CEO Lee Young-shin stated that this MOU is significant beyond mere collaboration. It demonstrates that its wearable AI medical technology has gained recognition in an advanced global market like the UAE. As it works to introduce thynC at SSMC, it aims to progressively commercialize the efforts, translating pilot outcomes into tangible supply and sales.
