LG Electronics launched its innovative premium home audio system, the LG Sound Suite, on Thursday, featuring artificial intelligence (AI) and cutting-edge technology. This system delivers an immersive, theater-like audio experience in any space.

To commemorate the launch, LG Electronics hosted a product showcase at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, where attendees could experience the exceptional sound quality of the LG Sound Suite firsthand.

Key figures at the event included Park Chan-hoo, head of audio development at LG Electronics, and Ashim Marso, vice president of marketing for Dolby Laboratories’ Asia-Pacific region.

Speaker and Listener Position Detection: Optimized Spatial Audio
Previously, creating surround sound at home required placing a specific number of speakers in designated locations, limiting installation options.

The LG Sound Suite overcomes these constraints by being the first in Korea to support Dolby Laboratories’ advanced audio technology, Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.

This innovative feature detects the placement of speakers and optimizes spatial sound, regardless of their arrangement.

When paired with LG’s 2025 and 2026 premium TV models that support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, the TV speakers and sound system work in harmony to deliver an even more immersive audio experience.

Users can enjoy movies, TV shows, and sports content with lifelike sound, unhindered by room size, structure, or installation environment.

The LG Sound Suite includes a soundbar, surround speakers, and a subwoofer, offering 50 possible combinations to suit customer preferences.

The soundbar features a Sound Follow function that adjusts volume and balance based on the listener’s position, utilizing ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless transmission technology for precise location and distance measurement.

With a single touch on the LG ThinQ app, the speaker system identifies the listener’s location and creates a Sweet Spot for the best spatial audio experience, ensuring optimal sound quality regardless of the listener’s position.

The entire LG Sound Suite lineup also includes a Room Calibration Pro feature, which analyzes the characteristics of the installed space to finely tune the audio output.

Cutting-edge AI Processor Automatically Adjusts Audio and Expands Channels
The LG Sound Suite’s soundbar is equipped with the third-generation Alpha 11 AI processor, the same found in LG’s 2026 organic light-emitting diode (OLED) televisions (TVs). This advanced AI processor enables the AI SoundPro+ feature, which uses an NPU-based deep learning model for audio signal processing.

This technology automatically distinguishes between sound effects, music, and dialogue, adjusting the audio without user intervention. It enhances voice clarity and detects content types to refine sound effects, creating a more immersive viewing experience.

The system also features an AI Up Mix function that expands low-channel audio into multi-channel sound, utilizing all speakers for a richer audio experience.

All LG Sound Suite products incorporate premium sound drivers from the renowned Danish audio brand Peerless, known for delivering deep bass and delicate treble.

Even without watching TV, users can enjoy music seamlessly through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections. The system supports both standalone and stereo modes, providing high-quality Bluetooth streaming with clear highs and robust lows.

The LG Sound Suite boasts a modern design with silver accents and minimal buttons, making it a perfect fit for any space. Users can easily install and control the system through the LG ThinQ app, eliminating the need for physical buttons.

The power cable can be discreetly concealed within the stand for a clean installation.

Asim Mathur stated that with the LG Sound Suite supporting Dolby Atmos FlexConnect and the latest TV lineup, users can now experience premium sound optimized for their space without the hassle of complicated installations.

Lee Jeong-seok, executive director of LG Electronics’ audio business, emphasized that the LG Sound Suite allows customers to easily create personalized sound experiences tailored to their lifestyle. This will strengthen our position as a premium brand in the global audio market.

The LG Sound Suite will be available at LG Best Shop locations starting in April. Retail prices are set at 1,299,000 KRW (about 880 USD) for the soundbar, 799,000 KRW (about 540 USD) for the subwoofer, 549,000 KRW (about 372 USD) for the M7 surround speaker, and 449,000 KRW (about 304 USD) for the M5 surround speaker.
