JTI Asia said it will begin limited preorders for its new heated tobacco device, the “Ploom Aura First Edition,” starting April 7 through its official website, ahead of the product’s full launch.

The Ploom Aura First Edition is designed as a package that delivers the brand’s concept of “sensory enjoyment” through a curated set of components.

The company said it is introducing two package options this time, expanding on its previous release in 2024, when the “Ploom X Advanced” package sold out within a day of launch.

The package includes the Ploom Aura device, front panel, back cover, cleaning sticks and a functional accessory, with customers able to choose between a docking station or a car holder.

Consumers can customize their device by selecting from four device colors, 14 front panel designs and 10 back cover options, offering more than 500 possible combinations.

The Ploom Aura is scheduled for official release in Aisa on April 14 and will be available through the brand’s official website, as well as third-party e-commerce platforms including Coupang and Naver, and select convenience stores in Asia.
