On Tuesday, Wontech, a laser and energy-based medical solutions company, announced the expansion of actress Won Ji An’s ambassador activities to 48 countries across Asia.

Since appointing Won Ji An as their brand ambassador in March, Wontech has been running comprehensive marketing campaigns through various channels, including television commercials and social media platforms. The initial campaign, a three-part video series, has garnered over 18 million views, resonating strongly with audiences both domestically and internationally.

Encouraged by the success of these campaigns and the robust growth in the Asian market, Wontech has decided to extend the scope of Won Ji An’s ambassador role throughout the region.

Won Ji An has established a solid reputation in Asia through her performances in globally streamed content. Wontech sees this as an opportune moment to amplify their campaign reach in key markets where Korean content is highly popular. Her sophisticated and polished image aligns perfectly with the values championed by medical aesthetics brands.

Wontech has been steadily expanding its presence in major Asian markets, maintaining consistent revenue growth.

This year, the company plans to host its global brand event, Wontech Advanced Visionary Exchange (WAVE), in key Asian countries including Japan and China. This initiative aims to strengthen connections with local medical professionals and consumers while elevating brand credibility through premium positioning, spearheaded by their flagship product, Oligio.

Leveraging this expanded ambassador role, Wontech intends to roll out content and campaigns featuring Won Ji An across various Asian markets sequentially, with the goal of boosting both sales performance and brand recognition.

A Wontech spokesperson stated that Asia is a crucial strategic region with rapid growth in the medical aesthetics market and high interest in K-beauty and K-content. Won Ji An’s sophisticated and trustworthy image aligns perfectly with Wontech’s brand direction. It plans to expand the brand influence and market presence through campaigns tailored to each country’s unique characteristics.

In 2025, Wontech reported consolidated sales of 156.8 billion KRW (approximately 103.6 million USD) and an operating profit of 51.7 billion KRW (about 34.2 million USD), successfully achieving both growth and improved profitability. The company’s operating profit margin reached 33%, with exports accounting for 70% of sales, underscoring a growth strategy centered on international markets.

Building on its strong performance and competitive edge, Wontech plans to continue reinforcing its commitment to shareholder-friendly policies in the future.
