ABL Bio said it will present its dual-antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) candidate ABL209 at the fifth World ADC Korea 2026 conference, scheduled to take place June 9-11 in Seoul’s Magok district.

World ADC is one of the largest global conferences dedicated to ADC technologies, bringing together industry leaders, researchers and drug developers to discuss emerging technologies, development strategies and advances in targeted cancer therapeutics.

ADCs combine a tumor-targeting antibody with a cytotoxic payload, enabling the selective delivery of cancer drugs to malignant cells while minimizing damage to healthy tissue. The modality has emerged as one of the fastest-growing areas in oncology drug development.

ABL209 is a dual-target ADC developed by ABL Bio that simultaneously targets epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and mucin 1 (MUC1). The candidate incorporates a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload and is designed to improve tumor selectivity and therapeutic efficacy compared with conventional single-target ADCs.

The program is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial in the United States by NEOK Bio, a U.S.-based biotechnology company established by ABL Bio.

ABL Bio’s presentation, titled “EGFR and MUC1-Targeting Bispecific ADC Designed for Enhanced Antitumor Activity and Improved Therapeutic Window,” is scheduled for 2 p.m. on June 9.

During the session, the company plans to outline the scientific rationale behind the selection and validation of the EGFR-MUC1 target combination and highlight the differentiating features of ABL209 relative to existing EGFR- and MUC1-targeted therapies.

The presentation will also include preclinical efficacy and safety data demonstrating antitumor activity and the potential to overcome the limited therapeutic window that has been a challenge for many conventional monoclonal antibody-based ADCs.

“Bispecific ADCs represent a new therapeutic modality that addresses the limitations of traditional single-target ADCs by simultaneously targeting two tumor-associated antigens,” said Sang Hoon Lee, chief executive officer of ABL Bio. “Through continued research and development, we aim to establish a leadership position in the next generation of the ADC market.”
