Daewoong Pharmaceutical hosted the NABOTA®EDGE: Global Academic Program from September 3-5 at the Jeju Parnas Hotel. The event brought together 40 key personnel from partner companies across 22 countries.
The program was designed to enhance product and brand understanding among partner companies and strengthen their academic and marketing execution capabilities as NABOTA expands globally.
NABOTA, Daewoong’s proprietary botulinum toxin formulation, is used in aesthetic and therapeutic applications, including frown line reduction. In the U.S., it’s marketed as Jeuveau and received the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval in 2019.
As NABOTA gains traction worldwide, Daewoong is intensifying efforts to boost not only medical professional education but also the expertise and local implementation skills of its international partners.
This program transcended basic product training, aiming to deepen NABOTA expertise among global partners’ sales and academic staff, enabling effective market-specific execution.
The curriculum evolved from a physician-centric approach to a tailored program enhancing practical skills in product knowledge, competitive positioning, and academic marketing for key global partner personnel.
The event kicked off with an overview of NABOTA’s global guidelines and country-specific market entry strategies. Participants explored key market access approaches and brand management principles to ensure consistent messaging across diverse local markets.
Academic sessions covered crucial topics from basic anatomy to standard procedural protocols, aftercare best practices, and product specifics. This comprehensive training aimed to equip partner sales and academic teams with the expertise needed for professional dialogue with healthcare providers.
A highlight was the sharing of successful global marketing case studies. Partners presented local market insights and winning strategies, facilitating cross-market learning and idea exchange to boost NABOTA’s competitive edge worldwide.
The event concluded with partner awards, recognizing contributions to NABOTA’s global growth. This initiative aimed to motivate excellence, strengthen partnerships, and solidify the global partner network.
Looking ahead, Daewoong plans to expand its educational and networking programs for global partners, enhancing communication systems to maintain high standards of expertise and execution.
Building on this inaugural training, Daewoong will implement annual advanced programs to systematically enhance global brand, academic, and marketing capabilities as part of a long-term strategy.
Yoon Jun-soo, head of Daewoong’s NABOTA Business Division, remarked that this program united NABOTA partners worldwide, fostering shared understanding of the product and business strategies. It’s committed to continually enhancing the global partners’ capabilities and strengthening collaboration to consistently communicate NABOTA’s brand value and expertise across all markets.
