CJ CheilJedang announced on Monday that it will participate in IFT FIRST 2026, a three-day event starting on Monday at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

The IFT Food Technology Exhibition is the world’s largest annual showcase for food science and technology, hosted by the Institute of Food Technologists in the U.S.

At this year’s expo, CJ CheilJedang will feature an interactive Taste & Rich Taste Lab booth, designed to resemble a research laboratory. Visitors will have the chance to sample menu items that highlight the unique flavor solutions of their natural seasoning ingredient, Taste & Rich.

Attendees will get a firsthand look at CJ CheilJedang’s innovative solutions addressing key challenges in the global food industry. These include reducing sodium, fats, and dairy content, improving the taste of plant-based proteins, clean labeling, and enhancing umami flavors.

Taste & Rich is a next-gen seasoning that showcases CJ CheilJedang’s expertise in microbial fermentation rresearch and technology (R&D) and cutting-edge technology. It’s created through a fermentation process using natural ingredients like sugarcane, without any artificial additives.

After years of research, CJ CheilJedang has successfully developed and scaled up production of a unique natural fermentation method. This process avoids artificial steps like refining or chemical treatments, aligning with the growing clean pleasure trend that prioritizes natural ingredients.
