NCT 127 members Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Haechan, and Jungwoo have renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment, solidifying their commitment to the agency.

News1 has learned that all members of NCT 127 have inked new deals with SM Entertainment, showcasing their faith in both the team and the company. In a display of unity, members whose contracts had expired, as well as those still under existing agreements due to military service, opted for early renewals to ensure the group’s continuity.

This collective decision underscores NCT 127’s robust team spirit and sets the stage for an exciting new chapter in their career.

NCT 127, which made its debut on July 7, 2016, represents the Seoul-based unit of the larger NCT collective. The group’s original lineup included Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Haechan, with Johnny joining in 2017 and Jungwoo in 2018. Currently, Doyoung and Jungwoo are fulfilling their mandatory military service.

Over the years, NCT 127 has dropped a string of chart-toppers including “Fire Truck,” “Cherry Bomb,” “Touch,” “Superhuman,” “Sticker,” “Kick It,” “Fact Check,” and “Bump.” Their signature neo-futuristic sound and high-energy performances have kept fans hooked for nearly a decade.

As they mark their 10th anniversary this year, the group is set to drop their seventh studio album on August 24, ending a two-year hiatus. Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan will feature on this milestone release, promising a spectacular celebration of their decade-long journey. Fans are also eagerly anticipating the return of Doyoung and Jungwoo to the global stage following their military discharge in June next year.

NCT 127’s unanimous decision to renew their contracts is a testament to their deep-rooted bond, mutual trust, and confidence in their management. As they cement their status as a long-running group, all eyes are on NCT 127 to see how they’ll continue to innovate and captivate audiences in the years to come.
