
Girl group KATSEYE’s latest single “Animal” has made its debut on the UK Official Chart.
HYBE and Geffen Records announced on August 1 that KATSEYE’s “Animal” landed at No. 16 on the UK Official Singles Top 100 chart for the week of July 31 to August 6.
The track also made waves on Spotify, ranking 9th globally and 8th in the U.S. on the Weekly Top Songs chart for the week of July 24 to 30, marking KATSEYE’s highest chart performance to date.
Riding the wave of their new hit, KATSEYE continues to make waves in the industry. The group headlined the opening night of Iowa’s Hinterland Music Festival on July 31, delivering a 56-minute set featuring 14 songs. Fans can look forward to the release of their third EP, “WILD,” on August 14.
KATSEYE, a five-member global girl group featuring Yoonchae, Lara, Megan, Daniela, and Sophia, is a joint venture between HYBE and Geffen Records. While primarily targeting the U.S. market, the group has also made appearances on Korean music shows, steadily building a global fanbase with tracks like “Iconic by Mistake,” “Pinky Up,” “Touch,” “Nali,” and “Game Boy.”
