HYBE has revealed the title of their rookie girl group TUIDE’s debut single.
According to their label ABD, TUIDE’s first mini-album TUNE & PLAY will feature the title track “SUN KISS.”
The group’s debut content schedule was announced on Wednesday via a promotional calendar shared on their official social media platforms. Music video teasers are set to drop on August 20 and 22, with the full album and music video slated for release at 6:00 p.m. (Korean time) on August 24.
TUNE & PLAY is an album that harmonizes diverse musical languages into a singular rhythm (TUNE) while amplifying the joy (PLAY) discovered within. The group’s name, TUIDE, is derived from the phrase Tune the Tide, signifying the ability to adjust the flow.
TUIDE is a seven-member girl group marking the debut project from HYBE’s new label, ABD. The acronym ABD stands for A Bold Dream, with industry veteran Han Sung-soo taking the helm as Master Professional (MP) for TUIDE’s overall production. Han’s impressive portfolio includes work with K-pop heavyweights like Seventeen, After School, IZ*ONE, and TO1.
