Yeonjun from the K-pop sensation Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is set to make a splash on the Major League Baseball (MLB) mound in the U.S.
Big Hit Music, Yeonjun’s management company, announced that the star will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium on August 13 when the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The TXT member will also take part in the Dodgers’ annual Korean Heritage Night, a cultural extravaganza held both inside and outside the stadium. This event serves as a platform to showcase Korean culture to local baseball enthusiasts and strengthen ties with the Korean-American community.
Fresh off the release of his mini-album No Labels: Part 02 last month, Yeonjun is currently in the midst of a whirlwind promotional tour across the U.S.
His packed schedule includes a performance on ABC’s Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on Thursday. The following day, he’ll make history as the first Korean artist to grace the stage at the Z100 Summer Bash Presented by Wells Fargo, an event organized by iHeartMedia’s powerhouse radio station Z100. Capping off his U.S. tour, Yeonjun will headline Billboard’s exclusive live event Billboard: One Night Only on August 12.
Yeonjun first burst onto the scene with Tomorrow X Together in 2019, captivating audiences with hits like “Crown,” “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away),” “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You),” “Sugar Rush Ride,” and “Farewell, Neverland.” Following the release of his solo mixtape “Gum” in 2024, he’s been carving out a formidable solo career since his official debut last November.
