
NCT 127 is heating up the anticipation for their comeback with the release of a track video for their new song “Piñata.”
The video is set to drop on NCT 127’s YouTube channel at 6:00 p.m. (Korean time) on Tuesday. “Piñata” boasts a distinctive energy, fusing intense electronic guitar riffs with funky bass lines and breakbeat-style drums. The lyrics exude confidence, promising to transform the stage into an explosive festival atmosphere, much like the excitement of bursting a piñata at a celebration.
Their seventh full-length album, BLINGY, is slated for release on August 24 at 6:00 p.m. (Korean time) across all major music platforms, featuring a total of nine tracks. Following the album drop, NCT 127 will host a comeback live party on August 25 at 8:00 p.m. (Korean time) in Hall 10A of KINTEX 2 in Ilsan, where they’ll showcase their new material.
Since their 2016 debut, NCT 127 has been the Seoul-based unit of NCT, comprising members Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan. Currently, Doyoung and Jungwoo are fulfilling their mandatory military service. The group has consistently delivered chart-toppers like “Fire Truck,” “Cherry Bomb,” “Touch,” “Hero,” “Sticker,” “2 Baddies,” “Fact Check,” and “Kick It,” captivating fans for a decade with their signature neo-futuristic sound and dynamic performances.
Following their August comeback, NCT 127 is set to embark on their fifth world tour, NEO CITY – THE REDLINE, kicking off in September.
