BTS has struck gold again, this time with their hit single “SWIM” earning a prestigious certification from the French music industry.

The French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP) announced on its official website that BTS’s title track “SWIM” from their fifth studio album ARIRANG has been awarded Gold certification as of August 20. This coveted recognition is bestowed upon songs that achieve the equivalent of 15 million streams, factoring in streaming numbers, downloads, and physical album sales. Remarkably, “SWIM” reached this milestone in just five months after its release.

This latest accolade brings BTS’s tally of Gold-certified singles in France to an impressive ten, joining the ranks of their previous hits including “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Boy With Luv” (featuring Halsey), and “FAKE LOVE.”

Since their debut in 2013, BTS has skyrocketed to fame as a global powerhouse in the music industry, churning out chart-toppers like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “Permission to Dance.” Following a brief hiatus, the group made a triumphant return in March with their fifth studio album ARIRANG, featuring the fan-favorite “SWIM.”

Currently, BTS is electrifying audiences worldwide with their ARIRANG tour. Fans in Chicago are in for a treat as the group is set to take the stage on August 27 and 28.
