The K-pop star will drop her new digital single “México” on various online music platforms at 6:00 p.m. (Korean time) on Tuesday.
“México” marks Chungha’s first release in about seven months, following her digital single “Save Me” from February. The track delves into the desire to escape the monotony of everyday life and feelings of emptiness, expressing a longing to disappear to a place where no one knows her.
Chungha first caught the public’s eye on Mnet’s “Produce 101” in 2016, leading to her debut with the project group I.O.I. After the group’s disbandment, she launched her solo career in 2017, quickly becoming known for her powerful charisma and sultry performances.
