Actress Ji Ye Eun and dancer Vata are set to wed this December.
On Wednesday, a spokesperson for Ji Ye Eun’s agency, CP Entertainment, announced that the couple has committed to sharing their lives together, grounded in deep mutual trust. It kindly requests warm wishes and support for their new chapter. The wedding ceremony is scheduled for December 12 at an undisclosed location in Seoul.
In a similar vein, Vata’s agency, A-RA, informed News1 that Vata and Ji Ye Eun have found a precious connection and are embarking on a new journey as a married couple. They’ve pledged to be each other’s most steadfast partners, built on a foundation of profound trust and love. It hopes everyone will join them in blessing their future with heartfelt good wishes.
The couple went public with their relationship in April this year, swiftly acknowledging their romance and becoming an official item in the entertainment world. Since then, Ji Ye Eun has openly expressed her feelings for Vata on shows like “Running Man” and “Just an Excuse,” while Vata has reciprocated by sharing photos of Ji Ye Eun on his social media. Their journey from public courtship to marriage has spanned just eight months.
Fans reacted to the wedding news with enthusiasm, posting comments such as, “I had a feeling they’d tie the knot soon, given how often they talked about it on TV,” “It’s wonderful to see such a perfectly matched couple taking this step,” “They always looked so in love,” and “Here’s hoping marriage brings them even more joy.” The outpouring of genuine congratulations reflects the couple’s popularity.
Both Ji Ye Eun and Vata were born in 1994, and sources say their relationship blossomed from a shared faith. Interestingly, Vata contributed to the choreography for “Milkshake,” a song by Ji Ye Eun’s project group Chungju G.C., and joined them on stage at the Waterbomb Seoul 2025 event.
Ji Ye Eun made her acting debut in the 2017 web drama “How To” and later gained widespread recognition for her performances on Coupang Play’s “SNL Korea Reboot Season 3.” She has since become a familiar face on variety shows, including “Running Man,” “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” and “Jae-seok’s B&B Rules!.”
Vata, renowned as both a dancer and the leader of the dance crew We Dem Boyz, has an impressive portfolio of choreography work for K-pop heavyweights such as KARD, Kang Daniel, Cravity, SuperM, Kai, SHINee, and NMIXX. His exceptional dance skills garnered significant attention during his appearance on Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter” in 2022.
