Stray Kids Set to Headline New Festival STRAYCITY
JYP Entertainment announced that STRAYCITY, a new music festival, will debut in Bogotá, Colombia on Wednesday.
The festival, a collaboration between JYP Entertainment and Live Nation, features Stray Kids as the main attraction. Its name cleverly plays on the group’s moniker.
Stray Kids, who have already made waves headlining major events like Lollapalooza Paris, iDays in Italy, British Summer Time Hyde Park, Lollapalooza Chicago, and The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York, will be the centerpiece of this new venture.
The group is slated to headline STRAYCITY in Bogotá on Wednesday, followed by performances in Buenos Aires on September 14 and 15, and Mexico City on September 25 and 26.
In a groundbreaking move, Stray Kids will also headline Brazil’s iconic Rock in Rio festival on September 11, marking the first time a K-pop act has taken on this role.
Since their 2018 debut, Stray Kids have become a global phenomenon. Their recent release, “THIS & THAT,” topped the Billboard 200 chart, securing their ninth consecutive No. 1 – an unprecedented feat for any artist worldwide.
