ATEEZ, Nmixx, RIIZE, and Kwon Eun Bi (formerly of IZ*ONE) shone in the four major categories at the 2026 The Fact Music Awards. Cortis swept three awards, while trot sensation Lim Young Woong clinched the Popularity Award and a Special Jury Award.
The star-studded event, held on September 19 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium, saw ATEEZ crowned Icon of the Year, Nmixx taking home Sound of the Year, RIIZE earning Muse of the Year, and Cortis claiming Record of the Year. Cortis’ impressive night continued with wins for Artist of the Year and Next Leader, completing their triple crown.
Fan-favorite Lim Young Woong secured the fan-voted TMA Popularity Award and the prestigious Special Jury Award. A-list actor Kim Soo Hyun, presenting the Popularity Award, handed Lim the trophy before introducing his electrifying performance.
The newly minted My Star Award recognized BTS’s Jin and Nmixx’s Sullyoon. The Artist of the Year category celebrated a diverse lineup of 11 acts, including RIIZE, Rescene, ILLIT, AlphaDriveOne, ATEEZ, Nmixx, All Day Project, Choi Yena, Cortis Kwon Eun Bi, KIKI, and TREASURE. Rescene clinched the Today’s Choice award through on-site voting.
The The Fact Music Awards made its triumphant return to South Korea after a three-year hiatus, following stints in Osaka, Japan (2024) and Macau (2025). This marked the awards show’s Busan debut, with the charismatic duo of Jeon Hyun-moo and Seo Hyun at the helm.
