SEVENTEEN members Jeonghan and Joshua are set to debut as a unit this October.
Pledis Entertainment announced on Wednesday that Jeonghan and Joshua will drop their first mini-album, DREAMSCAPE, on October 19. The album explores the blurring of lines between fantasy and reality, expanding into a new sensory realm. It captures the dreamlike state where subconscious fantasies bloom during sleep, intertwining with real-world aspirations, creating an endless collision of two interpretations of dreams.
As standout vocalists in SEVENTEEN, Jeonghan and Joshua are known for their mellifluous tones and nuanced emotional delivery, as well as their striking looks, earning them the moniker visual pair. Fans are buzzing with excitement to hear what this new unit, born from the group’s vocal line, will bring to the table.
SEVENTEEN burst onto the scene in 2015 with “Adore U” and has since won over fans and critics alike with a string of hits including “Mansae,” “Pretty U,” “Very Nice,” “Don’t Wanna Cry,” “Clap,” “Oh My!,” “Left & Right,” “Rock with You,” “_WORLD,” and “Super.”
The group is currently on a military hiatus. Members Wonwoo, Vernon, and Mingyu are fulfilling their duties as social service agents, while Hoshi, Woozi, and DK are serving in the army. Jeonghan completed his service in June, and leader S.Coups received a military exemption due to an ACL injury. Seungkwan and Dino are slated to enlist this year, while Joshua, Jun, and The8 are exempt as foreign members.
