On Monday, Starship Entertainment, IVE’s agency, surprised fans by dropping a promotional teaser for the group’s new mini-album, Looks Can Kill, on their official social media platforms.
The teaser video captivates viewers with a projection mapping announcing the album release, set against a backdrop of towering urban skyscrapers. In a notable twist, the video displays the intriguing message IVE SPIN-OFF RELEASE 2026.10.19 alongside the album logo, while Seoul’s iconic landmarks emerge behind the high-rises, creating a unique visual spectacle.
The striking IVE logo graphics enveloping entire buildings, coupled with stylish cinematography, evoke a superhero movie aesthetic, ramping up excitement for the upcoming release.
IVE’s previous venture, their second studio album REVIVE+ released in February, was a smash hit. The double title track “BANG BANG” dominated major domestic music charts, securing a Perfect All Kill (PAK) – the group’s sixth overall.
As IVE prepares to drop their new material after nearly eight months, fans are buzzing with anticipation, eager to discover what musical direction the group will take to win their hearts once again.
IVE, a six-member powerhouse consisting of Jang Wonyoung, Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Liz, and Leeseo, burst onto the K-pop scene in 2021.
