CRAVITY is gearing up for a swift comeback. The group is expanding their unique musical identity with members actively participating in song creation.
Starship Entertainment announced that CRAVITY will drop their ninth mini-album Sonorous on various music platforms at 6:00 p.m. (KST) on Wednesday.
This release comes just five months after their eighth mini-album ReDeFINE in April, showcasing their relentless work ethic.
Sonorous is a testament to CRAVITY’s evolution, blending diverse sounds to create a powerful resonance. The album reflects their journey through turbulence, yearning, and recovery, expressed in their distinctive style. The group aims to inspire others through their musical growth and continuous challenges.
The mini-album features seven tracks, including the title song “LOUDER,” alongside “Pulse,” “Lucky Charm,” “LOVE ME,” “Seize The Night,” “Fantasy,” and “Odd One Out.” LOUDER” is described as an electronic dance track with ethereal, dark synthesizer sounds and dynamic progressions.
CRAVITY’s signature sound is prominently featured, with members heavily involved in the album’s production.
Wonjin, Allen, Serim, Hyungjun, and Taeyoung contributed lyrics to the title track. Allen, Wonjin, and Hyungjun penned “Lucky Charm,” while Serim, Woobin, and Taeyoung composed “LOVE ME,” “Fantasy,” and “Odd One Out,” respectively. Each track explores a range of emotions, from nervousness and certainty to rebellion and self-determination, weaving together a cohesive narrative.
Since their 2020 debut, CRAVITY has maintained a non-stop pace as they enter their seventh year. They’ve released three albums in 2026 alone: the Japanese single “Blast Out” in February, ReDeFINE in April, and now Sonorous. The group’s packed schedule includes domestic and international performances, as well as individual member activities.
Earlier this year, CRAVITY clinched the top spot in Mnet’s competition show “Road to Kingdom: Ace of Aces.” Their intense performances earned them critical acclaim and the moniker Performity. Fans and critics alike are eager to see how CRAVITY will leverage this new emotionally charged album to make a lasting impression in their seventh year.
CRAVITY will host a release party at 7:00 p.m. (KST) on the album’s launch day at the rooftop of Han River Bus Yeouido Terminal in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. This event, happening immediately after the album drop, offers fans an intimate experience with the new material. The group will also premiere their stage performance of “LOUDER,” officially kicking off their comeback.
