Minnie, a Thai member of the K-pop group i-dle, is set to make her silver screen debut in a romantic film in her home country.
On Tuesday, Minnie took to social media to share behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the Thai movie “Henry’s First Date.”
In her post, Minnie quoted lyrics from her drama original sound track (OST) “Nice to Meet You,” writing, “Even if I can’t remember tomorrow, I’m truly the happiest knowing how lucky I am to be with you today :)”
The released photos showcase Minnie’s undeniable chemistry with popular Thai actor Nadet Kugimiya, her co-star in the film. The pair, dressed in vintage-inspired outfits and embracing each other, exude a palpable romantic atmosphere.
In another snapshot, Minnie and Nadet are seen taking a playful selfie while cruising in a convertible along the beach. Both sporting white short-sleeve t-shirts and making goofy faces, the duo’s natural rapport and matching good looks could easily convince viewers they’re a real-life couple.
Minnie is set to star as the female lead in “Henry’s First Date,” the Thai adaptation of the Hollywood rom-com “50 First Dates,” marking her debut as a film actress. The release date for the movie is yet to be announced.
