YG Entertainment announced on Monday that the music video for BABYMONSTER’s mini-album title track “CHOOM” surpassed 200 million views on YouTube around 9:30 a.m. (KST). This milestone comes just over five months after its release on May 4.

The “CHOOM” video has been praised by K-pop fans for its high-quality visuals, featuring dynamic choreography and large-scale dance sequences that perfectly embody the song’s title. Critics have noted the members’ more mature appearances and the diverse sets, including security checkpoints and ballet studios, which add to the video’s visual appeal.

Meanwhile, the performance video for “CHOOM” is also nearing 100 million views, having already exceeded 97 million views. This further demonstrates BABYMONSTER’s growing popularity.

With this achievement, BABYMONSTER now boasts ten videos with over 200 million views, marking a significant milestone for the group.

Riding on the success of “CHOOM,” BABYMONSTER is set to release a new song on October 23, aiming to maintain their upward trajectory. While details about the upcoming release remain scarce, fans are eagerly anticipating the group’s next musical direction.

Since their 2024 debut, BABYMONSTER has released several hit tracks including “DRIP,” “WE GO UP,” “SHH,” “Really Like You,” and “HOT SAUCE.” The group has garnered a strong following for their exceptional live performances and stage presence.

BABYMONSTER is currently on their second world tour, titled CHOOM, connecting with fans through 31 performances across 18 cities worldwide.
