LE SSERAFIM’s new release has topped the Oricon chart immediately upon its Japanese debut, according to their agency Source Music on October 11.
The Oricon chart revealed on October 10 that LE SSERAFIM’s second single album Made My Night, featuring members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae, claimed the top spot on the Daily Single Ranking on September 9, the day of its Japanese release.
This achievement marks LE SSERAFIM’s second consecutive number-one hit on the chart for singles released in Korea, following their first single “SPAGHETTI.”
Made My Night is an album that captures the essence of a special evening enhanced by interpersonal chemistry. It features the title track of the same name and a B-side titled “AEIOU.”
The album has also seen impressive domestic success. According to Hanteo Chart, it sold approximately 200,000 copies on its first day of release in Korea, securing the top spot on the album chart for September 11. This chart-topping performance in both Korea and Japan demonstrates the group’s strong fanbase in both countries.
The title track is also gaining significant traction. Made My Night celebrates the joy of spending an entire night with someone special. It reached No. 14 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart dated September 26 and maintained its position on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs chart in Korea for four consecutive weeks.
LE SSERAFIM, managed by Source Music under HYBE, made their debut in 2022. Their discography includes hits like “FEARLESS,” “ANTIFRAGILE,” “UNFORGIVEN,” “EASY,” “CRAZY,” “HOT,” and “SPAGHETTI.” The group dropped their second single album, Made My Night, on September 11.
