ZICO, the artist and producer, is set to make history as the first South Korean male solo artist to perform at Japan’s major year-end festival, Countdown Japan.

The multi-talented performer will take the stage at Countdown Japan 26/27, scheduled to take place at Makuhari Messe in Japan from December 26 to 27 and December 29 to 31. As the first K-pop male soloist to join the star-studded lineup, ZICO is poised to captivate local fans during his performance on December 27, the festival’s second day.

Countdown Japan 26/27 has been Japan’s premier year-end music extravaganza since its inception in 2003, featuring a roster of artists who have made significant waves throughout the year. ZICO is expected to set the stage ablaze with his signature blend of unbridled energy, compelling vocals, and meticulously crafted performances.

ZICO first burst onto the music scene in 2011 as a member of the group Block B, delivering chart-topping hits like “Her,” “Yesterday,” and “NalinA.” Since then, he has successfully carved out a thriving solo career, further cementing his status as a versatile artist in the industry.
