Korean Flavors in Paris and London: Top Restaurants Awarded Ahead of Paris Olympics

South Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation announced the designation of three newly recognized Korean restaurants in Paris, France, and London, U.K.

Among the newly designated establishments are SAM CHIC and JIUM in Paris and Sollip in London, totaling three establishments.

This initiative aims to bolster the promotion of Korean cuisine in Paris and London ahead of the upcoming Paris Olympics.

These restaurants are celebrated for mastering Korean flavors, utilizing local ingredients, traditional liquors, and Korean decorative items.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs supports initiatives, including purchasing ingredients and tableware.

Yang Joo Pil, Director of Food Industry Policy at the Ministry, expressed optimism for these exceptional Korean restaurants abroad, stating, “As the sports festival approaches, we anticipate showcasing the refined flavors and elegance of Korean cuisine. We are dedicated to promoting Korean food as a symbol of the Korean Wave and will provide substantial support for the expansion and recognition of outstanding Korean restaurants worldwide.”
