North Korea has condemned the deployment of the U.S. heavy bomber, the Rockwell B-1 Lancer, to the Korean Peninsula.

On Thursday, the Workers’ Party’s official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, published a statement from a spokesperson for the Ministry of Nation Defense Defense on page 4. The statement threatened that they would never overlook even the slightest provocation from hostile forces, referring to the joint U.S.-South Korea air drills conducted on Tuesday.

The spokesperson also warned that the United States’ provocative military actions, which were seen as a serious threat to North Korea’s sovereignty and regional stability, could inevitably result in severe negative consequences for America’s own security situation.

The front page and the second page featured reactions from residents and workers following the completion ceremony of 10,000 housing units in the Hwasong District. Residents expressed their gratitude and reaffirmed their commitment to serve the country.

The newspaper emphasized the emotional atmosphere among those who met Kim Jong Un, the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, during the ceremony, noting that the passionate cheers echoing throughout the nation conveyed the people’s boundless pride, endless happiness, and great honor.

Page 3 reported on the successful performances on Wednesday at the 9th April Spring People’s Art Festival in Pyongyang, held to commemorate the 113th birthday of the former President of North Korea, Kim Il-sung.

Additionally, a celebratory gathering for families of anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters took place at the Embassy of North Korea, in Beijing, China on April 11. Johnny Hon, Co-Chairman of the Kim Il-sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, returned to the country on Wednesday.

Page 5 emphasized the need for central universities to establish a systematic support framework to implement the party’s policy of reducing educational disparities between central and rural areas. From late February to early March, local party committees mobilized regional officials and supporting organizations for the March School Support Month initiative.

On page 6, the newspaper criticized the United States, claiming that U.S.-style democracy serves as a tool for Americanizing the world. It also featured a commentary from the Korean Central News Agency, which asserted that Israel, with backing from the U.S., is carrying out invasions in the Middle East and that the destruction of global peace stems from the U.S.’s favoritism.
