The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the Workers’ Party of Korea, published a front-page article on June 15 titled, The Transformative State of Our Homeland, Filled with Grand Creativity and Vigorous Progress, Is a Powerful Demonstration of Our Distinctive Struggle Method. The piece emphasized that the launch of another multi-purpose destroyer, which will robustly safeguard the nation’s maritime sovereignty and interests, exemplifies the Party and people’s indomitable will and tenacious execution capabilities. This event was hailed as both a deeply significant milestone and a valuable fruit of their distinctive struggle method.
The newspaper defined their unique approach as one that creates miracles through military-civilian joint operations, achieves greater victories through continuous innovation and advancement, and resolves issues through self-reliance. It boasted of successes in various areas, including housing construction in Pyongyang and other regions, as well as policies for local revitalization and development.
Page 4 reported on the completion of road construction in the port city of Nampo. The new roads stretch from the city entrance through the center to the West Sea Barrage. Additionally, it mentioned that the Samsok district is focusing on silkworm cocoon production to boost the sericulture industry.
