On Thursday, the Russian Embassy in North Korea emphasized that Kim Jong Un’s visit to China for the 80th anniversary of the Chinese Victory Day celebration aligns with the new equitable order sought by North Korea, China, and Russia.
The embassy stated via its Telegram channel that this visit marks a significant milestone, showcasing the elevated level of North Korea–China relations. It predicted that the General Secretary’s visit would be highly successful, enabling both nations to reaffirm their shared perspectives on critical historical events of the past century.
The embassy further noted that the new equitable international order that Moscow, Pyongyang, and Beijing are prepared to pursue and collaborate on can only be established on such foundations. They assessed that Kim’s visit to China would serve as a catalyst for strengthening the trilateral relationship between North Korea, China, and Russia.
Kim is scheduled to attend the victory celebration event in Beijing on September 3, following an invitation from Chinese President Xi Jinping.
