North Korea recently denounced Japan and Australia’s strengthened security cooperation, labeling it a dangerous military maneuver that accelerates their war alliance aimed at fulfilling ambitions of re-invasion.

The ruling party’s newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, published a commentary on Wednesday from the Korean Central News Agency titled, What’s the Real Motive Behind the Samurai Descendants’ Push for War Allies? The article referenced the recent Japan-Australia Foreign and Defense Ministerial Meeting (2+2) and Australia’s decision to acquire Japan’s cutting-edge Mogami-class frigates.

The newspaper asserted that Japan’s objective is to secure dominance in the Asian region, even if it means leveraging foreign powers, ultimately to realize its long-standing ambition of Eastern domination.

The paper highlighted that Japan is already facing international rejection and animosity due to its historical revisionism and efforts to revive militarism, cautioning that these actions would inevitably trigger justified vigilance and fierce retaliatory resolve from Asian nations.

The commentary emphasized that today’s Asia is no longer the battlefield where the former Imperial Army rampaged across the continent, tarnishing Japan’s national flag with blood. It stressed that regional countries would not tolerate the actions of these Samurai descendants who conspire with foreign powers to pursue their dreams of Eastern domination.
