North Korea commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Three Revolutions Red Flag Movement, calling on citizens to strengthen ideological unity to bolster the regime.

The Workers’ Party’s official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, published an editorial on Tuesday emphasizing that the Three Revolutions Red Flag Movement is a nationwide campaign aimed at vigorously promoting the three revolutions to accelerate socialist construction in line with the demands for Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il ideology throughout society.

The newspaper described today’s struggle as a revolutionary advance powered by subjective revolutionary forces. It further explained that its ultimate goal is to cultivate the entire population into thoroughly prepared, ideologically driven revolutionaries across all aspects of ideology, technology, and culture, while reinforcing the nation’s unique and formidable single-minded unity to expedite comprehensive socialist development.

On page two, the newspaper reported that numerous units had achieved the Three Revolutions Red Flag this year. It stated that achievements in various aspects of socialist construction during this significant year are a testament to the Party’s mass-movement ideology, which it said had been clearly validated through the historical journey of revolution and construction by the entire Party, nation, and people.

The third page covered the 80th-anniversary meeting of the Korean Socialist Women’s Union, held the previous day at the Women’s Hall. It reported that more than 2,380 women union officials and members had dedicated themselves to advancing into dynamic fields of innovation and creation, striving to accelerate local development and bring about a bright future.

Page four highlighted socialist patriots, including workers from the Pyongyang Steel Bridge Factory, a forest supervisor from Pyongsan Forestry Management Office, and a factory manager from the Patriotic Morang Factory. The newspaper said that their noble life philosophy and spirit of devotion to the motherland exemplify the qualities of patriots revered by society and respected by the people.

The fifth page stressed the importance of establishing a culture of electricity conservation. The newspaper asserted that saving electricity is a duty and responsibility of every citizen, urging all to integrate energy conservation into their daily lives. It also reported that the Greenhouse Vegetable Sector Science & Technology Forum 2025 was held from the 4th to the 17th at the Agricultural Science Institute’s Kangdong Central Vegetable Research Institute.

Page six reported that the Korean Record Science Film Studio recently produced two documentary films: The People Are Heaven and The Great Desire of the People: Ideal Streets 4. It said that the latter depicts the dynamic process of constructing 10,000 housing units in Stage 3 of the Mars District project.
