
Kim Jong Un, Supreme Leader of North Korea, conducted an on-site inspection of the construction site for a memorial hall honoring fallen soldiers of the Korean People’s Army.
The state-run newspaper Rodong Sinmun reported on February 14 that Comrade Kim personally oversaw the construction project of the Overseas Military Operations Combat Merit Memorial Hall on February 13th. He was accompanied by Joo Chang-il, a senior official of the Party Central Committee, and military commanders involved in the construction effort.
Kim emphasized that the unparalleled bravery and mass heroism displayed by North Korean troops in overseas military operations must be permanently etched in history as a symbol of certain victory. He declared that the memorial is more than just a building; it represents a profound tribute to the hallowed spirits of heroic warriors who will live on eternally in the hearts of the Party, the nation, and the people. The Supreme Leader added that it serves as a monument of dignity and honor, solemnly commemorating the invaluable lives of these fallen heroes.
