Cryptocurrency (digital asset) exchange Korbit said on the 17th it is accelerating its transition to an “artificial intelligence (AI)-centered organization” to improve workplace productivity.
Korbit has introduced major generative AI tools to all employees, is building its own AI work platform and is evaluating AI utilization capabilities in its hiring process.
Currently, Korbit supports employees’ use of generative AI services such as Claude and Gemini. It is also developing and operating an in-house AI platform, taking into account system accessibility and security.
The platform is based on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology, connecting internal documents, databases and work systems. Non-developer staff can query data or generate charts using natural language, while developers can access internal knowledge through AI coding tools.
Information entered by employees and existing data are automatically integrated, enabling AI to utilize organizational knowledge based on these connections.
The use of AI is expanding across various areas, including compliance and development. AI is being applied to report writing and fraud detection systems (FDS), and there are cases where planners and designers participate in product development using AI. News and content generation features are also expected to be added to services in the future.
Chief Technology Officer Lee Jung-woo said, “Introducing generative AI is only the beginning, and the true transformation lies in converting knowledge that exists only in people’s minds into forms that AI can utilize,” adding, “We will continue to improve our organizational structure centered on AI, including making AI utilization by all employees a key evaluation metric.”
