Sports Illustrated predicted South Korea will clinch three gold medals in archery, including the men’s, women’s, and mixed team events. They also forecasted Kim Woo Jin to earn a bronze medal in the men’s event.

Five gold medals are at stake in archery, highlighting South Korea’s recognized strength in this sport. Notably, Sports Illustrated did not predict a medal in the women’s individual event.

The men’s saber team was predicted to secure a gold medal in fencing, while the women’s epee team would earn bronze. Sports Illustrated anticipated silver medals for the men’s team event in table tennis and for Park Hye Jung in the women’s over 81 kg weightlifting category.

In boxing, Oh Yeon Ji is expected to win a bronze medal in the women’s 60 kg category, while An Ba Ul is anticipated to secure bronze in the men’s 66 kg judo category.
