On Thursday, SK Intellix announced the 1st NAMUHX Offline Meetup, aimed at expanding its open ecosystem for artificial intelligence (AI) wellness initiatives.
The event, held on March 28 at the company’s headquarters in Seoul’s Jongno district, brought together participants from the NAMUHX Hackathon that took place last December.
A spokesperson for SK Intellix explained that they’re working to broaden the developer community by connecting hackathons, online communities, and offline meetups, while evolving the NAMUHX ecosystem into an open structure. The representative added that the meetup attracted budding developers, including college students majoring in AI, computer science, and software engineering.
During the event, attendees shared insights on the technological trajectory of wellness robots, the potential for personalized healthcare, and the expansion into user-friendly everyday services. Discussions also delved into the future role of wellness robots in light of potential humanoid robot commercialization, as well as NAMUHX’s development direction.
The gathering featured presentations on venture capital (VC) market trends, notable investment cases, and current dynamics in the startup ecosystem and investment landscape.
SK Intellix has plans to host the 2nd NAMUHX Hackathon in the first half of this year. Last year’s inaugural competition saw students and developers present various service models compatible with NAMUHX, focusing on innovative ideas in the AI wellness sector.
