2026’s Game-Changer: Walrus Memory Empowers AI Agents with Seamless Data Control

Tech2026's Game-Changer: Walrus Memory Empowers AI Agents with Seamless Data Control

On Thursday, Walrus, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered on-chain financial data platform, unveiled Walrus Memory, a new memory layer designed for AI agents.

Walrus Memory offers developers full control over the memory layer, allowing AI agents to share memory and verify data integrity across platforms.

This innovation provides a crucial data repository for AI Apple lications, enabling AI agents to seamlessly access and utilize their work history across various services and environments.

The system features encrypted memory and allows agents and systems to determine memory-sharing protocols. It also facilitates agent collaboration through shared memory spaces.

Walrus Memory is compatible with leading AI platforms, including Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini.

Kostas Chalkias, co-founder of Mysten Labs, explained that memory has been a major bottleneck in AI, with most agent memories confined to specific platforms. Walrus Memory breaks this barrier, giving developers direct control over memory and enabling cross-service agent collaboration.
