2026 AX Transformation Strategies: How to Achieve Cost Savings and Revenue Growth

Companies are increasingly focusing on where to apply artificial intelligence (AI) and what results to achieve, rather than simply implementing the technology. There’s a growing demand from the field for organizations to not only adopt new technologies but also transform their structures and work processes, linking these changes to revenue and cost metrics.

AX Execution Strategies: Lessons from the Field
According to industry sources, the AX Bridge Committee of the Venture Business Association held an online event titled, AX Bridge #10, 2026 AX Bridge Webinar, on Thursday. The webinar shared real-world examples and execution strategies of AX (AI Transformation) currently in operation within companies.

The event drew 399 pre-registrants, including representatives from venture firms, startups, and AI specialists. Of these, 71 companies expressed interest in follow-up business matching and collaboration opportunities.

The association noted that this turnout demonstrates a heightened interest in practical applications, outcome generation, and collaboration with supply companies, rather than just the AI technology itself.

During the webinar, speakers emphasized that successful AI technology adoption should focus on practical application rather than mere implementation. They stressed the importance of designing how to modify existing workflows and which performance indicators to improve.

Lee Ju-wan, chair of the AX Bridge Committee and chairman of Megazone Cloud, stated that AI is no longer just a tech trend; it’s a new management infrastructure that’s reshaping how companies survive and grow. He emphasized that the key is not just implementing AI, but ensuring it leads to tangible changes in work processes, cost reductions, and revenue growth.

Lee added that with the government officially recognizing AX as a core national strategy across manufacturing and industry, private companies must move beyond proof of concept (PoC) and into the execution phase.

Detailed sessions featured promising companies implementing AX in their industries, sharing specific execution examples.

Rutton Technologies presented its experiences in building AX solutions for finance and manufacturing sectors, along with strategies for AI agent utilization. They emphasized the need to design entire workflows rather than focusing on single functions like document automation for effective results.

DX Labs showcased a case study combining digital twins and AI predictive maintenance based on power plant operational data. They shared quantified results, including reduced equipment downtime and lower maintenance costs.

The presenting companies highlighted that the core of AX lies in work processes and organizational operations, not just technology. They cautioned that without aligning process redesigns with key performance indicators (KPIs) and revamping data, security, and authority frameworks, achieving meaningful results becomes challenging.

Accelerating AX Matching Between Supply and Demand
Industry analysts suggest that 2024 marks a turning point for South Korean companies, as they shift their AI strategies from investment and adoption to operations and outcomes. While over 60% of domestic companies plan to expand their AI investments, they also face execution risks due to insufficient data and lack of operational frameworks.

Following this event, the AX Bridge Committee plans to intensify business matching between demand and supply companies. They will reclassify interests by field to facilitate one-on-one and small group meetings, aiming to identify AX projects and foster joint commercialization through subsequent programs.

The AX Bridge Committee, established in July 2024 with Megazone Cloud and eight other companies, has grown into a network of approximately 150 demand and supply companies. It has been actively hosting forums, conferences, policy discussions, and AI innovation seminars.

The committee chair emphasized their focus on disseminating validated AX cases beyond simple technology introductions. Their goal is to connect demand and supply companies, fostering a practical ecosystem for AX execution and collaboration.
