LG Display announced its participation in K-Display 2026, running from July 22 to 24 at COEX in Seoul. The company aims to accelerate market differentiation through organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology.

K-Display 2026, now in its 25th year, is South Korea’s largest specialized exhibition for the display industry, organized by the Korea Display Industry Association.

At this exhibition, LG Display will showcase products and technologies that innovate daily life and the future under the theme Beyond Display, A Window to Connection. The lineup includes everything from humanoids to monitors, televisions (TVs), information technology (IT) devices, and mobility solutions.

In the Visionary zone, LG Display will present an 83-inch ultra-large OLED TV panel featuring groundbreaking improvements in picture quality and lifespan through Tandem technology, alongside a media wall composed of monitor and IT panels.

The Tandem OLED device, pioneered by LG Display in 2019, stacks two organic emitting layers, offering superior durability with enhanced brightness and longevity compared to traditional single-layer designs.

LG Display will also unveil its P-OLED display solution for the humanoid market, a first in South Korea. This P-OLED technology is thin and lightweight, delivers excellent picture quality, and operates reliably in extreme temperatures from -30°C (about -22°F) to 85°C (about 185°F).

The Home zone will allow visitors to experience OLED applications in everyday settings. New products on display include a 24.5-inch 540Hz gaming OLED, a 27-inch DFR 720Hz gaming OLED, and a 39-inch 21:9 5K2K gaming OLED.

Attendees can experience the superior picture quality of LG Display’s tandem WOLED TV panels. Using proprietary Primary Red, Green and Blue (RGB) Tandem 2.0 technology, these panels achieve industry-leading brightness of 4,500 nits and an exceptionally low reflectance rate below 0.3%, ensuring immersive viewing in any environment.

The Work zone will debut the 27-inch 5K OLED panel, setting a new standard for office monitors. With a 220 ppi resolution and RGB stripe structure, it delivers vibrant, blur-free colors. This new product targets various industries, from graphic design to stock trading and healthcare.

LG Display will also showcase OLED panels for IT devices that balance portability, battery efficiency, and high quality. The 16-inch laptop OLED panel features a variable refresh rate, offering 120Hz for videos and lowering to 20Hz for static content to optimize power consumption.

New IT display solutions based on low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology include a 13-inch tablet OLED, a 7-inch smartphone OLED, and a 1.96-inch smartwatch OLED.

The Mobility zone will present a digital cockpit designed for efficient use of limited vehicle interior space. Visitors can experience various in-car displays firsthand.

The front seats feature a 48-inch pillar to pillar (P2P) display, allowing the driver to view navigation while passengers enjoy entertainment. An 18-inch slidable OLED in the back seat enables video conferencing and entertainment functions.

An LG Display representative stated that K-Display 2026 is a crucial platform to showcase the technological prowess. It aims to solidify the growth through OLED innovation and customer-focused business expansion.

Recently, LG Display’s large OLED products for monitors and TVs received the world’s first color/brightness accuracy certification from global agency Intertek. This certification ensures displays can reproduce colors and light as intended by content creators, providing an unparalleled viewing experience with high contrast and quality.

With this certification, LG Display plans to lead the global competition in display quality.
