Starbucks Korea has announced that it will introduce the popular Dubai Chocolate beverages from North American Starbucks to its nationwide stores on February 11.

The new lineup features two exciting drinks: the Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha and the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. These beverages, which first hit the scene in January across the U.S. and Canada, caused quite a stir by turning a trending customer favorite into official menu items.

As the Dubai chocolate craze continued to sweep the nation, Starbucks could not ignore the flood of requests from eager fans, many of whom said it was a shame they could only get it in the United States and urged the company to bring it to Korea. In response, Starbucks decided to introduce the exact same recipes that have been winning fans in America to Korea.

The Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha is a coffee lover’s dream, blending rich espresso with decadent chocolate mocha sauce for an intense java experience. But that’s not all – it’s crowned with a luscious pistachio cream cold foam that elevates the nutty flavor.

For those who prefer their indulgence caffeine-free, the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha is here to satisfy. This refreshing concoction marries smooth pistachio sauce with the sweet yet slightly bitter notes of matcha. To top it off, a velvety chocolate cream cold foam adds an extra layer of sweetness and silky texture.

Choi Hyun Jung, Starbucks’ beverage development lead, said the company is thrilled to bring the Dubai-inspired drinks to Korea after receiving many customer requests, adding that this reflects Starbucks’ commitment to keep pushing the envelope and creating experiences aligned with what customers want and what is trending.
